In June 2023 Friends of Monze trustees joined our Monze based partners Zambia Women and Girls Foundation to visit schools in Monze. Teachers told us they were concerned about some pupils not being able to see the blackboard.  

Monze District is dry and windy, dust gets in children’s eyes causing infection and scars.

We arranged for a team of 4 people including the eye Doctor to visit schools to conduct eye tests.
