Deana said "I was invited to visit this school by the headmaster when I was in Monze in July 2022. It is in the rural west area of Monze town which gets cut off in the rainy season. At present there are about 750 children aged 5-16 at the school taught in 3 shifts. 2 of the classrooms have big cracks in the wall, no windows and no desks. Fortunately they have a good supply of water from a borehole so we were able to put a roof on two unused classrooms so they can now be used for lessons, relieving congestion in the other classrooms and giving the children more learning time.
