Chilwa School 2024-25

Chilwa School is in a farming area. 

Friends of Monze trustees visited Chilwa School several times since 2017. It has 2 tiny classrooms  and teaches 314 children from early years to grade 3. The oldest pupil is 15 years old. 

Children are taught by one qualified Government teacher and 3 volunteer teachers.

To improve health and build classrooms, we drilled a borehole in 2023.

We started building a new 3 classroom block in 2024, it was completed March 2025.
