Chilwa School 2024-25

Chilwa School is in a farming area. Friends of Monze trustees have visited Chilwa School several times since 2017. It has 2 tiny classrooms  and teaches 314 children from early years to grade 3. The oldest pupil is 15 years old. They are taught by one qualified Government teacher and 3 volunteer teachers. There is no house for the teacher.

The school had no water so to improve health we drilled a borehole in 2023.

We started building a new 3 classroom block in 2024.
