Hamunyangwa School is in a rural area 40 miles from Monze town.  

It is so remote that when Friends of Monze trustees visited Hamunyangwa School in 2024 the headmaster came on his motorbike to find us and show us the road.

The school teaches 461 pupils up to 16 years old, with more children not in school we expect enrollment to increase when there are more classrooms. The community had bricks ready so we built a new 3 classroom block in 2025. The  community started building houses for the teachers. we are completing 2 houses.
