Hamukancharli School is in a rural area of Monze District. The school was started in 1927. The headmaster asked for help as the school only had 4 classrooms for 719 pupils. The local villages prepared sand, crushed stones and burned bricks ready to build classrooms. 

Friends of Monze has started to build 3 new classrooms so the children will learn in comfortable classrooms.
