Namilongwe School is in a rural area 19 miles from Monze town.  It started as a Community school in 1984 using the buildings from an old pig farm as classrooms. The school teaches 828 primary and secondary school pupils. The community made 18,000 bricks ready to build 3 new classrooms

To help improve education, Friends of Monze built 3 new classrooms and a house for a teacher. We donated desks and books.
